Andrew Vs. Zeke

These 2 have really been feeling each other out lately. Andrew gets so excited when Zeke is around and takes off crawling like he is really going to catch the kitty. I never imagined when we adopted Zeke that he would bring us all this entertainment.

Saturday as I was supervising Zeke with a plastic ribbon piece that came off a box Andrew decided he wanted to take part in the action. Zeke really seemed oblivious because he was so enthralled with his new toy. Here are several videos for your viewing pleasure. As you can see Andrew chased Zeke all the way from one end of the kitchen to the other. Part IV is the best :)

Andrew is also getting better with a few table foods. They have to be kind of hard and something he can bite off or he shoves the whole thing in his mouth causing him to gag. We have been practicing with Biter Biscuits, Wagon Wheels and Toasted Waffles. He loves them! He is really enjoying the new foods that he can hold on to. Makes him feel like a big boy I'm sure!



A few "NEW" things. Andrew got a big Tonka truck from his Aunt, Uncle and Cousin for his first Christmas but is just now getting around to really playing with it. He also thinks its funny to stand in the back of it too. There is never a dull moment.



So Friday while we were out running errands (Shopping ;)) I stumbled across this little gem. It is SOO cute and Andrew loves it! He hasnt figured it out completely yet but give him time! So now he has his own little chair in the "MAN" room.


Andrew has a big weekend ahead. MiMi and PoPo are coming to visit. He will surely be spoiled before they leave. Pics to follow :)

8 Month Update

Wow what a month it has been! Thats right only a month and so much has happened in Andrews little life it is hard to believe. He is EVERYWHERE! He can out crawl the best of them, and has just in the past few days began pulling up on furniture in his bed etc. He has went from sitting on his own to pulling up in a matter of weeks. He also has 4 teeth now, 2 on top and 2 on the bottom. Just amazing! Im going to miss those gummy grins.

I recently picked up this pull up toy at a consignment store, he has loved standing at it ever since. He pulled up on it this weekend. Getting stronger and stronger.

I also realized lately I didnt have any pictures of Andrew in his bath towel. He is sooo cute and decided to be a good model.

Our first Mothers Day together was so nice. We relaxed all day and went to lunch with Great Grandma and Grandpa Stayer. For once Im not behind the camera the whole time. Andrew had a great time at lunch. He flirted with everyone around us. It was hilairous to watch. He also enjoyed most of my muffin while we waited on our food......big step for him.




Summer is just around the corner, we have joined the community pool so that should be a blast with Andrew. We have lots planned in the next few months. Stay tuned for all the updates! Happy Mothers Day everyone!
